Welcome to my blog, it is good to have you here....

When I'm not gardening, enjoying my wonderful home that is Yorkshire or running around after my little boy. I am a Speech & Language Therapist, working with children and their families, to support the development of Speech, Language & communication skills.

I have worked with children & families throughout my entire working career.

My passion & specialism is supporting language, communication and development in the early years.

One of the keystones of my work with children, is that it is from my experience that Parents that are the most important and influential people in a child's early development.

And it is with us, as Mums, Dads, Siblings & Grandparents that our children feel the most safe, secure and loved. And it is from this safe secure base & environment that our children learn & develop best (Bowlby 1988 & 1997). I want to help you tap into all the amazing things you already know about your child & support you to use this knowledge and relationship to support your child's communication.

Communication, at its heart & soul, is a connection with the people & things that we love.

I am so grateful to be on this journey of supporting children & families. Supporting children to communicate & connect with the things that are most important to them.
